A little update on the upcoming new version of our Random Banner MOD:
Here's what features the new version has ATM:
- The admin page has been completely redesigned, it's much more user-friendly now.
- banner_db_update.php has been completely rewritten. If your installing or updating this MOD, you only need to run this file.
- Added a weighting system to the banners (a banner with more weight will on average show up more)
- The admin can reset a banners hits and/or clicks in the ACP (withouth having to remove the banner.
- use of constants for the DB-tables.
- A locations-system:
- The admin can define multiple locations in the ACP, and put their template-variable where (s)he wants.
- The admin can chose which banners are shown where (in which location(s) )
- General configuration (count hits and show creator) can now be set per location (original config is removed).
- Dutch language version included.
- Updated German language by killerbees19 (www.happytec.at)

A few more things are coming aswell (included the option to let banners cycle withouth the need to refresh the page), but I need to get the hang of a scripting technologie called AJAX (advanced javascript and XML). Haven't used this before, but am eager to learn it ;)
